I had a thought of making a blog. An islamic based blog. A few months ago. Yesterday, I was driven by that inner feelings to give it a go, but my brain denies it. Today, at 3PM on a Wednesday afternoon when I am supposed to concentrate on my work, I ended up clicking buttons here and there accompanied by a cup of hot chocolate and tandoori salmon, annndddd *TADA* another blogsite added up to the internet, in the hope of making it as beneficial as possible to both the writer and the reader.
Well, I wondered why. Why did I have the guts to make this possible? What made me want to publicize a blog which may/may not have a visitor at all? Whats in for it? As far as I know, blogs are way too oldskool for me. Adding point to that, I do not have any facebook account, twitter, or whatsoever in thing we have these days, except for Instagram and Whatsapp for a start. I guess, because I wish to be an 'abid (hamba) who is productive both dunia and akhirah. It is very hard you know, having a blog. Especially if you want to make it as beneficial and Islamic as possible. But, at least I have a reminder, if not for others, its for myself.
I guess most of us had it. The moment when we questioned the things we have done, that is officially a past. It is good to have whys, and hows and whats. Its those things that made you reflect on your deeds.
Everything that has happened, has its relevant to our lives, may it be good or bad.
Once upon a time, I miraculously bumped into a creation of Allah, who told me to look up to 51:56 and 2:30. You see, these are the saying of Allah, from the Quran. We as muslims (I never mentioned what I am right, well yeah I am a muslim, and proud to be one!) we believe in Allah, and therefore Al-Quran is a manual. You may ask, why do we need a manual, just live this life, enjoy it, party hard, get over it and die. Okay if thats the case then... the first time you own a phone/hold one/sees one/knows one, did you immediately know how it works? How the setting is, where to change this and that? Where to take selfies and later view it on photos? I am guessing its a no. If its a yes, please email me so I can give you a better analogy.
Therefore, if we need manuals/ someone/ something to direct us to use it for the right purpose, so is our life! Oh what a genius! Without a manual, we will do things as we like. It is the best if what we did is right, but what if it is all wrong? Same goes to human and other creations of this world. We are made for a purpose. Look up the 2 ayats I listed above, and ponder upon it! Lets be happy like the little girl below...
Guess what? Time has its own purpose too! Time is always running, and it does not freeze as you wish for it to be, unless Allah wants it. and I think I am running late to start on my work, Mr.Time is not gonna wait for me innit. gotta go!
Wassalam.
